Iberia hasn’t officially released their 2021 peak and off-peak calendar for Avios redemptions. Luckily, with 2021 just weeks away, we are able to publish an Iberia Plus Avios 2021 Peak/Off-Peak Award Calendar thanks to some investigation by the Juicy Miles team.
While its sister brands British Airways and Aer Lingus have released their dates, the Spanish flag carrier has yet to publicly publish its dates. Avios awards are bookable 355 days in advance. Based on tests of those dates (and confirmation from Iberia’s sister company, British Airways), we’re confident that the dates we’re publishing are correct.
Iberia 2021 Peak Dates Calendar
We’ve turned the Iberia 2021 Peak/Off-Peak Calendar into an easy-to-use table, embedded below. Note that peak dates are in blue while off-peak are in gray.
Remember that the peak/off-peak calendar only applies to flights operated by Iberia and British Airways flights to Madrid. This applies whether the flights are booked on Iberia.com, BA.com, or Avios.com.
Iberia Plus Avios Peak/Off-Peak Redemption Charts
Iberia awards have different costs based on their peak calendar. The redemption charts price awards by distance and are published on the Iberia website. The differences can be dramatic.

The Upshot
While travel has yet to recover, if you’re planning a trip on Iberia in 2021 using Avios, it pays to know the peak/off-peak dates.
