JAL might have the right idea when it comes to preventing pet mishaps like the ones we’ve seen recently in the US. The airline has started “wan wan” (that’s the Japanese word for the sound a dog makes) flights that allow passengers to take their four-legged best friends on a 3-day package vacation. Included in the package is the special 737 flight, a pet-friendly hotel stay, and special sightseeing tours. All dogs travel in the cabin with their owners and veterinarians are even on board in case pet starts to feel ill! The domestic package starts at $1304 for two adults and a dog.
No word on whether your dog earns any JAL Mileage Bank points 😉
