One Unexpected Way A Hotel Kept Trump From Arriving To Rally On Time

by Eric

After recent news that Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump threatened to not pay a hotel bill because the property could not adequately cool the room he was speaking in, it appears that he has run into additional challenges at another hotel on the campaign trail.

Trump was staying at The Mining Exchange Hotel in Colorado Springs, CO when he happened to get stuck in the hotel elevator. He was expected to speak at a rally at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs at 2PM, but firefighters were called to a report of 10 people being stuck inside an elevator at the hotel around 1:30PM. The elevator was stuck between floors 1 and 2.

Firefighters lowered a ladder into the elevator, and everyone was able to safely climb out. No injuries were reported, but Trump was over an hour late for the event.
