Samsung may have recalled the Galaxy Note 7 after the device (and its replacement) was found to be a fire hazard, and even offered the next generation of the device at half off to some users. But jokes at Samsung’s expense aren’t stopping just yet. If you have been traveling for the past few weeks, you’ve probably heard announcements about the infamous phone.
Southwest agents around the country dressed up for Halloween today, but some costumes “hit closer to home” than others. A gate agent in Salt Lake City apparently dressed up as an on fire Samsung Galaxy Note 7, probably after weeks of having to make announcements instructing passengers to turn off the device.
It is now against the law to carry the phone onto the plane, whether it’s on or off. Passengers may be heavily fined or even jailed if they attempt to bring the Galaxy Note 7 onboard or check it in their bags. But looks like it’s still totally allowed to roam freely around the terminal!
Southwest is pretty into the Halloween spirit. Around the country, many boarding gates have been seriously decorated, and employees are sporting spooky costumes.
So…what’s scarier? An on fire phone, or the spooky characters?
