This list from the Daily Meal judged the clubs on amenities, food and drink, and design and structural innovation…which makes it all the more surprising that two US based airline clubs made the list – the United Club at IAH and the AA Admirals Club at LAX. Several of the “regulars” made the list as well including the Turkish Airlines CIP Lounge at IST (I still need to visit this one) and the Lufthansa First Class Terminal in FRA. Anyway, check out the full list below and the accompanying article here. I’m not really sure why it’s the top 9 instead of 10, but there are several “best” clubs missing from the list including the impressive Emirates A380 First Class Lounge in Dubai and the SilverKris Private Room in Singapore.

Despite all the bashing over British food (Well deserved) I still pick the Concorde Room as the ability to have a cabana and the privacy that allows me to shower and lounge naked tops my list……….
Umm .. where’s #7?
@Karl – Hah, strangely enough it was there when I posted…Emirates First Terminal, it’s now disappeared from the article, slideshow, and list…weird
The AA admirals club in a LAX is strictly okay, I’m not sure how it made the list!
I agree. The Virgin Atlantic Lounge at London Heathrow is at least as good. Most of the others I haven’t visited, though. -Karl
The Centurion Lounges in LAS/DFW are far better than the Admirals club in LAX
I like the LAC AC. I really do. But it shouldn’t be on a list like this.
