British Airways is Flying between London and New Orleans Again…After 34 Years

British Airways Lockheed L-1011 TriStar, a similar plane used to operate the London/Gatwick - New Oreleans route in the early 1980s.

British Airways today announced that they will be launching service to New Orleans, after stopping the route 34 years ago. The airport doesn’t currently offer non-stop service to Europe, so this route will be a welcomed addition. (Condor is launching flights to Frankfurt in May 2017).
