They’re a place to stop, reconnect, and reflect on the wonders of our world. They can be enjoyable and relaxing places for walking as well as people watching.
But some gardens are much more unique and more unusual than others. Some gardens seem eerily strange and some are even deadly.

This list of the 10 most unusual gardens in the world captivated my attention. Their locations range from California, England, Scotland, Singapore, Norway, Sri Lanka, Italy, Mexico, and Thailand.
Even though I’ve visited many of these destinations I was dismayed, given my curiosity for exploring gardens and parks, that I’ve only been to one of these gardens.
Looks like visiting some of these gardens, given these photos and learning more about the gardens themselves, would be a unique travel theme for some trips! For sure these growing spaces are much more than pretty flower beds and deserve a dedicated trip of their very own.
