Best (and Worst) Cruise Line Based on Traveler Reviews

We’ve seen a lot of these for the airlines, but here’s a list of the best cruise lines based on actual traveler reviews. a website where travelers can rate and review their cruise line experiences provides the data. The Motley Fool adds:

All  reviews are verified, meaning that all reviewers have gone on the cruise they’re reviewing. Most importantly, with the growth of social media, word of mouth is more important than ever before. Every experience plays a potentially significant role toward the future growth, or lack of growth, for a cruise line.

The cruise lines reviewed were Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Walt Disney’s Disney Cruise Line.

I’m not a cruiser (MJ?), but supposedly these scores should surprise some of you. Check them out here.

  1. Seems about right. Admittedly loyal to Royal. Booked our first trans Atlantic voyage this weekend, but have until Oct 2015 to change my mind….I won’t. 😀

Will sample Disney next month, and looking forward to it.

Disclosure (and in keeping with the point of the Motley Fool article): I own a few shares of Royal Caribbean stock, purchased around 8.00 a share during the dark days of 08/09 when no one was going on vacation EVER again. Closed at 51.26 today. They’ve been good to me in more ways than one.
