We all have had to sit through the dull airline safety videos that are played whenever we fly. Air New Zealand has taken their newest video to another level.
The creative airline had Hollywood actress Anna Faris, of Scary Movie fame, partner with New Zealand comic, Rhys Darby, to film their latest safety video. Take a look at their work below, and see if you agree with me that this may just be the best airline safety video ever!

No. She didn’t. The video is way too long, deviates far too many times from the meat of the safety instructions to actually be useful, and is overly full of topical yet unfunny pop-culture references that will be outdated and passe in a matter of weeks. I give it a D+. Betty White was cool, though.
It’s a little long but I liked it. As a French I enjoyed the clin d’oeil regarding the baguette, the Mime Marceau and the little size of Napoleon (was true)
