In case you not a fan of the National Football League (or guys who are just way too handsome, and put the rest of us men to shame), you should know that the quarterback of the New England Patriots, of Deflategate shame, had his 4-game suspension lifted by the U.S. District Court today.

New England Patriots Celebratory Tweet

However, even if you are a New York Jets fan (or just generally hate the Patriots), this can be cause for celebration for you!  This is because there are multiple Boston-area opportunities for you to save money on ridesharing!

Save on uberPOOL in Boston Today

First, Uber Boston is running a promotion which will save you 12% off uberPOOL fares in the city. Of course, the promotion is valid until 12:12am (as in just after midnight tonight), and the promo code you need to enter is GAMEON12.  In case you hadn’t figured it out yet, Tom Brady’s jersey number is #12.  Speaking of Tom Brady’s jersey, the New England Patriots just started offering fans a chance to win an autographed Tom Brady jersey today.  Nice timing!

Save on Bridj in Boston Today

Next, Bridj, a less well-known ridesharing company that is currently only in Boston and Washington DC, is offering a free ride home for riders tonight!  Just enter the promo code freebrady for your free ride.  For those of you that are not familiar with Bridj, it almost a bus-like version of uberPOOL, connecting commuters traveling to/from high density areas.  Kudos to Bridj for letting us know that their wheels are all fully inflated!

So whether or not you are a fan of Tom Brady, there is certainly plenty of reason to celebrate his newfound freedom when taking Uber or Bridj tonight!
