In an attempt to help Chinese tourists in Italy, Chinese police are being deployed on the streets of Rome and Milan according to CNN. More than 3 million Chinese tourists visit Italy each year and have recently been targeted as “easy prey” for petty theft. Paris began a similar program in 2014.
