Fake Power Outlets At Airports: Hilarious (or Cruel?)

by John Harper

I have long found the supply and demand relationship involving airports and power outlets perplexing. Do so many people wake up every morning with dead phone batteries?

Even at small regional airports, with no connecting or long-haul flights, I’ve seen people clamor over power outlets. In desperation, poor souls expose their posteriors directly to mysteriously stained carpeting for the chance to sit next to a solitary wall hole.

Whoever thought of this gag, congratulations, you’re my hero of the day.

Fake power outlets, in the form of very well-printed and convincing stickers, have been disavowing people of their device obsessions at airports across the country. Hat tip to Secret Flying on this one.

Just take a few minutes for yourself and enjoy…

Naturally, the phony power outlets are available for Prime delivery on Amazon.
