Hyatt has a partnership with MGM properties in Las Vegas, where Gold Passport members can enjoy reciprocal earning, redemptions, and elite benefits with MGM’s MLife program. The latest promotion allows members to earn 20% bonus Hyatt points at eligible properties in Las Vegas. You must register for the promotion, and which applies to stays from October 19 to December 29, 2016.
Gold Passport members already earn 5 points per dollar spent, so this represents one extra point per dollar. Platinum and Diamond members will still earn their usual bonus, but the bonus from this promotion only applies to base points. As usual, you will also earn elite-qualifying stays at MGM resorts. These are the eligible locations where you can take advantage of the offer:
- Hyatt Place Las Vegas
- MGM Grand
- The Signage at MGM Grand
- Mandalay Bay
- Delano Las Vegas
- The Mirage
- Monte Carlo
- New York-New York
Hyatt’s been on fire with recent offers, from purchase points bonuses to a lucrative fall promotion. This Las Vegas promotion is stackable with the current “More Points More Play” promotion, where you can earn up to 75,000 points by staying with Hyatt. Within the portfolio of hotels that Hyatt has access to, Las Vegas properties have some of the lowest prices. Since the “More Points More Play” promotion require a number of nights for each incremental bonus, I can see Vegas for being a prime market where you can top off a few nights.
