After writing an article yesterday reminding our readers to redeem their 2015 Hyatt Diamond Suite Upgrade Awards before they expire next week, I started doing a little research to see if I could find the terms and conditions of these upgrade awards as I was having some trouble myself redeeming my last 2015 upgrade award. While doing said research I was reminded that Hyatt publishes a list of all the properties at which upgrade awards cannot be used. These properties are the following:
- Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort
- Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa
- Park Hyatt Sydney
- Andaz Tokyo
- Hyatt Regency Kyoto
- Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort
- Hyatt Regency Tulsa
- Hyatt Regency Wichita
- Hyatt Paris Madeleine
- Hyatt Herald Square
- Hyatt Key West Resort and Spa
- Hyatt Manila City of Dreams
- Hyatt Santa Barbara
Unfortunately this list includes some of the best Hyatt properties in the world, such as the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort, Park Hyatt Sydney and the Andaz Tokyo.
In addition to the properties listed above, you cannot redeem a Hyatt Diamond Suite Upgrade Award at Hyatt Residence Club resorts, Hyatt Place hotels, Hyatt House hotels, Hyatt Residence Club properties or M life resorts.
Therefore, make sure to keep these exceptions in mind when considering where to redeem your Hyatt Diamond Suite Upgrade Awards.
