One of our readers emailed at 7am ET this morning that they were unable to book a reservation on the Marriott website – both cash and redemptions. Our team was able to replicate the issue across multiple properties and regions, always receiving the same error message:
After a call to Marriott reservations and their Titanium Elite line we were informed by a manager of the following- “All of our reservation systems are down or experiencing sporadic outages, there is currently no known resolution time and we cannot book reservations over the phone at this time either. We recommend calling back in a few hours.”
So there you have it, systems down and no idea when things will be back up. Seems about right for the Marriott we’ve gotten used to post-merger.
