The Top Travel Scams to Look Out for in 2015

by Adam

BoardingArea readers already know to look out for all of these right? Today, we have another list of scams every traveler should watch out for courtesy of Yahoo! TravelBoth Budget Travel and Travel + Leisure published similar lists last year (links below). Between the three, I’d say most of the known scams are covered, though I don’t see the Beijing Tea Scam on any of the lists.

I’ve actually been pretty lucky, in all my travels I’ve only had people try the “Bangkok Palace Closure”, the “Red Bracelet”, and the “Beijing Tea Scam” on me. However, I knew about all three of them before arriving in those countries and avoided the scams. Any others you see missing from the lists?
