United now has another pay to board early option, this one is called Priority Boarding. The perk will allow customers to board with Group 2, which of course also includes Premier Gold, Star Alliance Gold, Premier Silver, Star Alliance Silver, customers who have purchased Premier Access and United MileagePlus Explorer, Club, Presidential Plus and Awards Cardmembers. The fee will be variable based on your flight, the day of the week, and the time, though it will start at $9.
Customers will be able to purchase Priority Boarding at the time of booking for some flights, others will see the option at check-in or at a date post flight purchase.
Premier Access, a product that United previously rolled out, will continue and will be priced higher as it includes priority screening and boarding.
The queue for Group 2 continues to increase…
