Now this is a nice little contest that American Airlines has sponsored. Not only do you have a chance to win 250,000 AAdvantage miles, but you are also able to help out a charity if you have a few moments of spare time.

I recently received an email from AAdvantage with the following content:

The savvy travelers who share their tricks of the trade to make the journey better for all. We call them the World’s Greatest Flyers, and American Airlines AAdvantage® members are just that. As a great flyer, you know the importance of flying kind. That’s why we’re asking you to share a travel tip to help make flying just a little greater for everyone else. In return, we’ll make a donation of 250 AAdvantage miles to your choice of one of our seven featured charities. Afterward, enter for a chance to win 250,000 miles each, for you and your selected charity.

You can head over to the American Airlines forum link here, and share your travel tip in a category like Redeeming AAdvantage miles or Navigating the airport. A few moments of your time with the shared travel tip, and American Airlines will donate 250 miles to charities like the American Red Cross, Make-A-Wish, and UNICEF.

However, if you simply want to enter the contest for a chance to win 250,000 AAdvantage miles, you can head over to this direct link to do so.

Good luck!
