Take a NYC Step Back – Public Library Releases Awesome Photos from the 1930s

In 1935, during the Great Depression, photographer Berenice Abbott proposed an art project to the federal government called “Changing New York” which would document New York City. High-resolution images from the project were recently released for download by the New York Public Library. Take a look at her awesome photos as she travels all over NYC in the 1930s.
