Over the last weeks and months, World of Hyatt has presented us with numerous promotions and opportunities to earn Hyatt points at breakneck speed.
Whether you’re a casual Hyatt guest or Hyatt is your hotel chain of choice, there’s probably a current promotion for you. Grab these current World of Hyatt offers and promotions! Many of these promotions are stackable with each other and may require some prior registration to take advantage of. I’ve listed them in order of expiration and/or registration date deadlines.
Hyatt’s newest promotion combines two of my favorites: journeys and bonuses! It’s called Bonus Journeys. Let’s go over the particulars.
Offer: Earn Up to Triple Points on Eligible Spend
With this Bonus Journeys promotion you earn up to triple points on eligible spend starting with your second qualifying stay from September 15 through December 15, 2019.
- Earn triple points on eligible spend at any of the nearly 350 Hyatt Place hotels
- Earn double points on eligible spend at over 500 Hyatt hotels and resorts, 10 plus participating M life Rewards destinations, and more than 200 participating Small Luxury Hotels of the World hotels.
- Offer can be combined with additional offers, so it’s stackable with the other Hyatt offers below

Offer: Use the Hyatt App For 500 Bonus Hyatt Points
Earn 500 bonus points for each qualifying stay when booking your stay using the new Hyatt app. You do not need to register for this promotion.

- Booking must be made through the World of Hyatt app
- Award stays qualify for this promotion

Offer: Double Hyatt Points
This is a targeted offer so check here to see whether or not you’ve been targeted. If you’re one of the lucky Hyatt fans to be targeted, you need to register for this offer by September 30, 2019 and complete your stay by October 31, 2019.
No luck for me with this promotion, though.
Offer: Points + Cash on Sale
Now through October 31, 2019, members can save an extra 25% on the cash portion of the rate when they book a Points + Cash award at participating hotels. No registration is required to participate in this offer – members will see the discounted rate included in the Points + Cash on Sale award why they book. These are the hotels eligible:

Offer: Double Elite Credits With This Hyatt Ziva / Zilara Offer
If you’re heading to Mexico, like staying at Hyatt hotels, and enjoy all-inclusive resorts, you’ve probably looked at both these properties to see if they work for your holiday. Would this offer sway your hotel choice? Maybe, maybe not. Double elite night credits are great when they come as a result of a hotel stay you’ve got planned anyway.
Here are the particulars:
- Registration is required by October 31, 2019.
- Stays at these two resorts from now through November 23, 2019 qualify for this promotion.

Offer: Hyatt New Brands Promotion (Thompson, Joie de Vivre, Alila and Destination Hotels)
Hyatt has been on an expansion tear the past few years, and that’s a good thing given Hyatt’s previously small footprint. So it would make perfect sense that Hyatt wants to incentivize its members to give their new hotel brands a try. This promotion extends through the end of 2019 expiring on December 31, 2019. No need to register for this promotion.
Here are the particulars:
- Earn 2,000 bonus Hyatt points for the first stay at a participating hotel in each of the four new brands – Thompson, Joie de Vivre, Alila and Destination Hotels
- Earn a Category 1-4 Free Night Certificate for at least one stay at a hotel in each of the four new brands
- Promotion start date begins on the date each of these brands joins the World of Hyatt program
- Both Hyatt award nights and cash stays qualify for this offer

Offer: 500 Bonus Hyatt Points For New Hotels
At first glance this promotion may seem somewhat similar to the previously listed promotion for new Hyatt brand hotels. This offer is actually different though and requires no registration. This is an ongoing promotion of 500 bonus Hyatt points when you stay at a Hyatt hotel from the list of participating hotels. Each listed Hyatt hotel has an eligibility time frame of usually 12 to 14 weeks.
This may seem confusing to keep track of, so from time to time check this Hyatt page to see which hotels are eligible. You’ll see the names of the hotels and the dates during which stays qualify for the 500 point bonus.
Need Extra World Of Hyatt Points?
For those people that want to squeeze every maximum point out of every dollar spent, don’t forget to make your Hyatt bookings with your World of Hyatt Credit Card. Cardholders earn four points per dollar spent at Hyatt hotels.
World of Hyatt is also transfer partners with Chase Ultimate Rewards, so you can transfer over points earned on cards like the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card, Chase Sapphire Reserve Card, and Ink Business Preferred Credit Card. Stacking World of Hyatt offers with points transfers sounds like a win to me!
Final Thoughts
My head is spinning from all the World of Hyatt offers and promotions coming our way right now. If you’re staying at a Hyatt already, it makes sense to register and take advantage of one or more of these. It’s easy to let offers slip by and leave Hyatt points on the table and go unclaimed. As a Hyatt fan girl who has reviewed Hyatt hotels all around the world, I certainly want to maximize earning points. I’m sure you’re with me in wanting to earn World of Hyatt points with these promotions when you can!

Nice guide, Shelli. Yes, head spinning, but in a good way. They are really tempting me with a Points Back offer. The “after second stay” bonuses from competition — meh. And I am still trying to figure out my most recent Accelerate.
Thanks EFF. I’m not doing the IHG Accelerate so I’m only looking deeper into the Hyatt promos right now. I usually have my Hyatt stays picked well in advance. That means promos often don’t work with my plans. I look at them all, though. Good problem to have!
