We’re written fairly extensively about British Airways over the last several months and for good reason. Between celebrating its 100th anniversary with retro liveries to introducing a new business class suite to the recently announced Chase Ultimate Rewards transfer bonus to Executive Club, BA has been on a bit of a hot streak lately.
Now, there’s also an easy (and free) way to earn 800 British Airways Avios to top off your Executive Club accounts.
British Airways Shopping Portal
Most airlines have a shopping portal that allows users to click through to their favorite e-commerce sites to earn miles. British Airways’ e-store portal is offering 800 Avios (apparently up from the standard 500) for signing up for a free trial of Playstation Vue. This higher offer ends on April 30, 2019.
Vue is a subscription streaming service with cable channels that has plans starting at $44.99. However, the offer clearly states that signing up for a free trial — which lasts for five days — qualifies for the 800 Avios. While you do have to enter your credit card information, just remember to cancel within that trial period to avoid being charged the monthly fee.

Transfer Credit Card Points To Avios
British Airways Avios can be transferred at 1:1 ratio from currencies like American Express Membership Rewards and Chase Ultimate Rewards (current 30% bonus). Therefore, besides the British Airways Visa Signature Card, you can transfer to Avios from cards like the Chase Sapphire Preferred and the Platinum Card from American Express.
We were made aware of this offer by this email from British Airways. It’s clearly an error and when clicked through, it’s the same trial offer as above. Otherwise, this might have been one of the most lucrative offers ever….

As mentioned above, Chase Ultimate Rewards is offering its first-ever transfer bonus with a 30% bonus to British Airways Executive Club. Transfers must occur by 11:59pm on June 16, 2019 which means you have almost a full two months to take advantage of this offer.
In the past, American Express was a leader in periodically offering transfer bonuses to airlines and hotels. It last had a transfer bonus to British Airways back in the fall of 2018.
Transferring Ultimate Rewards To British Airways
Chase Ultimate Rewards usually transfer to British Airways instantly, and there is no limit to the number of points transferred.
