Ever seen everyone onboard a flight start singing gospel music? Well, it happened, sort of.
James Corden has a late night talk show where he does a recurring bit (that often goes viral) called “Carpool Karaoke.” Famous guests jump into a car with Corden, and they sing and chat. Hilarity ensues.
Example of Carpool Karaoke (with Lady Gaga):
Introducing Airpool Karaoke
Corden changed things up this time around by having his car take to the skies, with “Airpool Karaoke.” His guest was Kanye West, who brought along a plane-full of gospel singers.
Here is how the premise worked. The Late Late Show host supposedly had his Los Angeles-bound Flight 808 from Ontario, CA canceled. (Obviously, this didn’t happen.)
Corden and West then embarked on “Airpool Karaoke,” a jet-setting ride with West’s now-famous Sunday Service choir. They talked life, Kim Kardashian, and his music. Of course, that was not before some chaos with Corden’s two(!) rollerboard carry-on bags.
The full Airpool Karaoke video (all 19 minutes) is below.
