Emirates is offering a potentially lucrative deal if you use an American Express card to purchase a U.S. originating flight through April 30, 2020.
I received the emailed offer yesterday and here is the breakdown of the discount:
- $75 off a round-trip economy class flight
- $500 off a round-trip business class flight
- $1000 off a round-trip first class flight
Business Saver fares are unfortunately not included in this offer which makes it much less valuable. Nevertheless, even taking $75 off of an economy fare, like on one of Emirates’ fifth freedom flights from New York to Europe, is a sweet little perk.

Emirates has a landing page specifically for this offer. The promotion code should be auto filled, but if not, use code USAMX19.
The offer is good for bookings through December 31, 2019 and for travel between November 5, 2019 and April 30, 2020. A round-trip must be booked and also originate from the US. Finally, in order to make use of the promotion code, you’ll have to use any American Express card to purchase.
